About.

M.E.N (More Equality Needed) is an all female collective founded by Grace Bowen in 2015. M.E.N endeavours to provoke and question preconceptions of gender and equailty through performance and film. The company aims to produce a series of performances exploring the age of the 'new women', and attitudes towards equaility throughout history.

The series will confront the issue on multiple platforms, including immersive warehouse experiences and pop up events around London. M.E.N aims to encourage women to empower other women, and create opportunities for them express their experiences through movement and speech.

Grace Bowen studied at London Contemporary Dance School, and became interested in ideas of equality whilst exploring opportunities for young aspiring female choreographers. Grace is currently working with a collective of female performers to understand their experiences both within the arts and the public domain. The research is in aide of M.E.N's debut piece 'For Tomorrow We Die' which will premiere at Resolution 2016 (Robin Howard Dance Theatre) on the 11th of February 2016.
